About Faith Club Certification
Why Start a UYC Certified Faith Club
- You’re already a trained student leader. Starting a certified Faith Club at your school offers you the opportunity to spread the Gospel among your peers, develop a community of believers, and gain support from the UYC team (and other student leaders!).
- When you choose this certification, you’ll get equipped to live out your faith and share the gospel in practical ways. We’ll help you make an impact at your school that can continue long after you’ve graduated.
- We’ll make sure you’re covered through prayer, legal support, insurance, and a team of experienced believers dedicated to your campus ministry's success.
- As a student leader with a certified Faith Club, you can let the love of Christ flow through you by investing yourself in relationships and actions that last for eternity. No exaggeration!

Step 1
Interview with a UYC team member.
We’ll review your application and have a conversation with you about what you’ve learned and your ministry opportunities.
Step 2
Sign our Faith Club Certification Agreement.
This agreement establishes accountability and your affiliation with UYC; it also includes a statement of faith and code of conduct.
Step 3
Get online support & invitations to participate.
You’ll have access to our online student leader community, the chance to join periodic ministry activities, and an option to get coached by the UYC team.
About CHURCH PARTNER Certification
Why Become a UYC Certified Church Partner
- You’re already a trained church leader. Becoming a certified Church Partner allows you to build a ministry at a school with the support of the UYC team and other church leaders. You can light a fire of hope in places that are spiritually dead. Not only that, but your ministry to today’s youth can have a far-reaching impact that affects generations to come — and echoes into eternity.
- Become a certified Church Partner and let Christ shine through you in practical ways as you love kids, teachers, and administrators who long (whether they know it or not) to see the good news of the Gospel lived out around them!
- We’ll make sure you’re covered through prayer, legal support, insurance, and a team of experienced believers dedicated to your campus ministry's success.

This agreement establishes accountability and your affiliation with UYC; it also includes a statement of faith and lifestyle commitments.

You’ll have access to our online church leader community, the chance to join periodic ministry activities, and an option to get coached by the UYC team.
About CHAPLAINCY Certification
Why Become a UYC Certified Chaplain
- As a certified UYC chaplain, you can serve a sports team at a middle or high school you care about. Your training and affiliation with UYC equips you to make a lasting difference in the lives of young people, now and forever.
- Today’s kids are hungry for the Gospel; they’re also hungry for mentorship. It’s one thing to discover and hear about the values of the Christian life, and it’s another thing to watch adults live them out in practice.
- When you become a UYC Certified Chaplain, you can take your training and your passion for the Gospel into spiritually dead places. You can walk alongside kids and adults who need to experience Christ’s love for them through the words and actions of others. You can foster their spiritual development while meeting their tangible needs, helping to change the course of their lives forever.

- Become a UYC Certified Chaplain and let the light of Christ shine through you in practical ways as you love student-athletes, coaches, and families at a field, court, or track near you!

This agreement establishes accountability and your affiliation with UYC; it also includes a statement of faith and lifestyle commitments.
Step 3
Get matched and placed with a local sports team.
If you’re in the San Diego/Tijuana area, you’ll meet with a UYC staff member in person. Nationally, we’ll start meeting through Zoom video chats to get you set up for in-person ministry where you live.
