Project 25

Take a minute to check out these short videos from some of our top projects and a local newscast about Project 25.

8th Annual Project 25

Community Service Challenge

This spring we are giving out $100 mini-grants to 50 campus clubs. The students in each club read Jesus’ Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25, design an original project that puts the money to work for the sake of others, and make a 90-second YouTube video to give an account of their work.

Then, we host all clubs for a red carpet Campus Awards celebration where trophies are presented to clubs who did the most extraordinary projects. The gospel of Jesus Christ is clearly presented and students are given an opportunity to respond at the Campus Awards ceremony.

In one year students performed over 12,000 hours of community service by following Jesus in San Diego. Student teams raised $21,579 towards local and global service.

This year’s Project 25 Campus Awards celebration will take place at City View Church at 8404 Phyllis Place, San Diego, CA, 92123 on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 7:30-9:00pm. Previously, to encourzge students Mayor Kevin Faulconer proclaimed the date to be "Project 25 Day" in the City of San Diego.
